Which EZ Dock gangway hinge kit do I need?
EZ Dock hinge kits are matched to the width of the dock the gangway lands on: 40, 60 or 80 in. A separate kit hinges the gangway to a shore abutment. Measure the dock section the gangway connects to, and decide whether the shore end hinges or rolls.
What does a gangway roller kit do?
A roller kit lets one end of the gangway roll as the water level changes, so the gangway isn't pulled or twisted when the dock rises and falls. This category has a roller kit for the 10 ft PE gangway and one for PVC pipe setups.
Can I build my own wooden gangway with EZ Dock hardware?
Yes. EZ Dock sells hardware kits with stainless parts for 24, 34 and 60 in. wide wooden gangways. The kits include the hardware only, and EZ Dock notes that lumber is not included, so plan your framing and decking separately.
