Where does an EZ Dock Aegis lift install?
EZ Dock says the Aegis installs between two dock sections at least 10 ft apart, with 80 in. EZ Dock sections recommended. Frame kits come in 4 ft and 5 ft arm lengths, and slip kits are offered for 10, 11 and 12 ft slips. Measure your slip before ordering.
Should I choose arms-up or arms-down on an Aegis?
According to EZ Dock, the pitman arms-up setup suits V-hulls with a beam up to about 8 ft 6 in. The arms-down setup suits pontoons, tritoons and wider beams. Shallow water arms-down kits are also listed for V-hull, wake, pontoon and tritoon models.
What is the Aegis lift made of?
EZ Dock builds Aegis lift tanks from precision-molded LLDPE polyethylene, and the frame and hardware are hot-dip galvanized steel. The air-assist pump and valve control units are 110V, with single valve and dual valve versions and solar and remote options.
