Lift Parts FAQ
How do I find the right part for my DAKA lift?
Start with your lift's model and capacity, such as a 3120, 4120/5120 or 6120 vertical lift, or a KDV model. Many listings say to specify the model, the cable side or the number of rollers. If the tag is gone, send Blue Ridge Boat Docks photos of the lift and winch.
How are cables arranged on a DAKA vertical lift?
DAKA describes the layout like this: the winch cable runs to the rear bunk tube, two leveling cables run to the front bunk tube, and transfer cables run to the side bunk tubes. Replacement cables are stainless steel and listed by model, so note which cable you are replacing.
Why replace a winch brake pad?
The brake pad in a lift winch holds the boat in place when you stop cranking. A worn pad can let the lift slip. This category has brake pads for Lorenz and Dutton Lainson winches, so check the brand on your winch before ordering a replacement.
