Can I convert my DAKA lift from a hand crank to electric?
Yes. DAKA electric winch drives replace the crank wheel on DAKA lifts and come in 12V, 24V and 110V versions, with remote control options. A Lift Tech installation kit is listed for mounting Lift Tech drives, and Blue Ridge Boat Docks can install it for you.
What is the StrongArm winch rated for?
DAKA says the StrongArm 12V electric winch is designed for DAKA lifts and rated up to 4,000 lb. It comes in through-bolt and U-bolt mount versions, and a 25 ft power cord is sold separately. Check your lift's capacity before choosing it.
Which solar kit do I need for my DAKA winch?
Match the kit to the winch voltage. DAKA's 12V, 10 W kit pairs a single battery tray with a solar panel, and the 24V, 20 W kit includes a dual battery tray, panel and jumper cable. For hydraulic lifts, DAKA uses 25 W and 45 W 12V panels.
