Terms and Conditions
Effective date: October 19, 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases from the Blue Ridge Boat Docks online store at blueridgedock.com and to use of our website. “Blue Ridge Boat Docks,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean Blue Ridge Boat Docks of Marion, Illinois. “You” means the person or business placing the order. By placing an order, you agree to these terms, along with our Shipping & Returns policy and our Privacy Policy.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it and begin processing, ordering materials or fabricating. We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, for reasons such as a pricing or listing error, product availability, an address we cannot reach, or suspected fraud. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund what you paid for the canceled items.
Please check sizes, quantities, hull types and options before you order. Many of our products are built or ordered for your specific dock or lift. If you are not sure what fits, call us at 618-294-6905 before ordering.
Prices and Payment
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change without notice. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
- Prices do not include freight, delivery or installation unless the listing or your quote says they do.
- Sales tax is charged where required by law.
- We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is due when you order unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Financing and pay-over-time options are provided by third-party lenders under their own terms. Blue Ridge Boat Docks is not the lender.
- If a product is listed at the wrong price because of an error, we will contact you before filling the order and you may accept the correct price or cancel.
Shipping, Delivery and Pickup
Pickup, Blue Ridge local delivery, delivery with installation and freight shipping work as described in our Shipping & Returns policy. Freight is quoted after you order and nothing ships until you approve the quote. Extra carrier charges that were not in your quote, such as redelivery, liftgate or limited-access fees, are billed to you.
Ownership of the products and responsibility for loss or damage pass to you when you pick up your order, when we deliver it, or when the freight carrier delivers it to you.
Lead Times
Lead times shown on our website and in quotes are estimates, not guaranteed dates. They can change with the season, material availability and supplier schedules. We will keep you informed if your order is running behind, but we are not responsible for costs caused by delays.
Cancellations and Returns
You can cancel an order, or any item on it, as long as nothing has been ordered from our suppliers or fabricated for it yet. Once materials are ordered or fabrication has started, the order cannot be canceled. We do not accept returns. See our Refund & Returns Policy for when refunds apply and how they are issued, and our Shipping & Returns policy for how to report freight damage or missing items.
Warranties
Blue Ridge dock frames. Galvanized steel dock frames built by Blue Ridge Boat Docks carry a 5-year structural warranty from the date of purchase. It covers structural failure of the frame caused by defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover damage from ice, storms, floods, lightning or other acts of God, accidents, overloading, improper installation or anchoring, or normal wear, and it does not cover floats, decking or parts made by other manufacturers. If you think a frame has a structural problem, call us with photos. We will inspect it, and the remedy for an approved claim, whether a repair, replacement or refund, is decided on a case-by-case basis.
Other products. Products we resell are covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty, if one is offered. Warranty claims are decided by the manufacturer, and we will help you file one.
Except for the warranties described above, and to the fullest extent the law allows, products are sold as-is, without any other express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Installation and Use
- Install, anchor and use products according to the manufacturer’s instructions and rated capacities. Do not exceed weight ratings for docks, floats or lifts.
- Conditions on the water vary. Water levels, ice, wind, wave action, current and lake bottom conditions affect how a dock or lift performs, and you are responsible for choosing products suited to your site.
- You are responsible for any permits or approvals your lake, lake association or governing agency requires.
- Installation and other services from Blue Ridge Boat Docks are quoted separately and governed by your written quote or service agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, such as lost use of a boat or dock, property damage from improper installation or use, or lost time. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Product Information
We work to keep product descriptions, photos, specifications and availability accurate, but manufacturers update products and errors can happen. Photos may show optional equipment or finishes that are not included. If something on a listing does not look right, call us before you order.
Dealer Accounts and DockGuard
Dealer pricing and terms for Blue Ridge Dealers are set by separate agreement. DockGuard memberships are governed by their own terms. If those terms conflict with these, the separate terms control.
